"We went from two weeks ago hiring anyone we could because we were, as a business, breaking some sort of sales record every week. To now - everybody is let go and we're trying to find ways to save the business. We went from doing numbers I never thought this restaraunt could ever do, to us coming up with strategies on how to save the business in two weeks."

“I just kind of go back to that sense of community and family and just let them know that, everybody is going through this, it’s not just you that’s going through this.
A lot of times we have very particular issues that affect us that are very personal and this one isn’t. This one’s affecting everyone on a global scale so I guess something that is comforting is that we are all going through this stuff at the same time and if we’re all doing what we can for each other and for our families…you know I think the only thing we can do. I think thats going to provide the most recovery which is to talk about it, call somebody, look for that support and I’m sure you’re going to find it.”

“We see all these headlines about how the restaurant industry is getting kind of crushed at this point, and hopefully when this all comes back up we will have a better base to build off of because of that. I would be hopeful for a better ground base after this is all over.
I say use this time to like do something new, experiment. You know, we always talk about how we don’t have time to do anything and now it’s like we have all this time in the world…well you know what I mean…and I see half my friends are just sitting at home playing video games. Take that time to learn and play the guitar, take that time to make some new dishes, work on cooking at home.
Just keep on chugging, it’s all that we can do right?”
